Hello! I am a Site Reliability Engineer based in Southeast Michigan. I have worked many roles throughout my career, from application administrator, software engineer, and systems engineer! I consider myself a jack of all trades and can generally be placed at most places in the stack and provide value (besides maybe frontend, as you can see with this site :) ).
Currently my interests lie in the realm of reliability and observability. I spend much of my time working with other engineers to help ensure their systems have proper observability and stability. This puts me in a lot of places, anywhere from working in metric tools such as Grafana and Dynatrace, to working with hardening infrastructure such as AWS ECS and EKS, to writing code in the form of services or libraries to help us achieve said goals.
I also code in my spare time and I'm currently exploring technologies such as blockchain, machine learning, and Go. I created this website as an exercise in attempting to improve my front-end skillsets. Outside of engineering, my interests include music - both listening and playing, gaming, cars, and my cat.
My favorite bands are Ging Nang Boyz and Deerhunter.
